Following the 2-0 defeat to Flamengo in the Brasileirão, defending champions Cruzeiro find themselves looming around the relegation zone with just a point separating them from 17th placed Coritiba.
Despite all this, goalkeeper Fábio feels the team are doing not so worryingly and believes Cruzeiro were superior in the defeat at Maracanã. Fábio also ensure that the Flamengo game are already behind them and that the focus is now on Sunday"s fixture against Atlético Mineiro. He was quoted in Globo Esporte: “We were unlucky in the finishing and yes, that decided the game. In the first half, our team controlled the game. We created more opportunities than our opponent. The team returned to the game trying to change the situation, but in a corner, they killed the game. Cruzeiro played well; these things happen in football. Now we have a game [against Atlético Mineiro] at home to try to win.
