Ronaldinho is back playing in Brazil after signing for Fluminense but he has been given a word of warning by his former coach.
Levir Culpi managed the player at Atlético Mineiro and repeatedly had problems with his off the field behaviour. The fact that Ronaldinho was 48 minutes late for his unveiling at Fluminense indicates his party days may not yet be over.
“If he is willing to pay the price asked of a professional athlete, it will give much joy to their fans,” Levir told SporTV. “He is one of the best players Brazil has ever seen. But sometimes he doesn’t work hard. Things will depend on his willingness to find his best form by focusing on football.”
35 year old Ronaldinho has signed a one and a half year contract at Fluminense.
