Josep Maria Bartomeu is over the moon with his side’s form in 2014-15 and is eagerly anticipating the return of Pep Guardiola to Camp Nou in the Champions League.
Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu is delighted with the Catalans’ performances so far this campaign and feels that their exciting trio can keep them on the path to excellence. Bartomeu believes the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suárez will fire them to glory. He told MARCA: “The team is highly motivated, we’ve managed to put together the best front line in the world, and all under a new coach. The season so far has been excellent. Based on the results, we’re back on the path to excellence. We’re top of the league and we’re in the Champions League semi-finals against Bayern Munich, which will be exciting. In addition, we’re through to the Copa del Rey final, which will be played here at the Camp Nou.”
