Guerrero’a contract runs until July 2015 and can sign a pre-contract with any club now.
Guerrero says he could’ve already signed for other clubs as there were proposals, but says he doesn’t want to play for another club in Brazil. He gave a long interview and was quoted in Globo Esporte: “Proposals already came. I could’ve already signed with a club. This includes teams here in Brazil that would pae what I’m asking, but I don’t want to go to another Brazilian club. I will not go into details, I want to stay at Corinthians. Every player has this desire of playing in Europe. If I don’t renew, then I have to find another club. I want to stay. My desire is to stay but it doesn’t just go through me. It includes the Corinthians board, who knows what I want and what I’m asking is within the possibility of Corinthians.”
