Brazil captain Thiago Silva is sure that international team mate Neymar will be the star of the 2014 World Cup.
The Barcelona forward endured a mixed first season in Spain but his performances for the national team are always of the highest quality.
And the PSG and Brazil skipper Silva is confident in Neymar’s ability.
Silva spoke to Mundo Deportivo, with Football Espana quoting the 29-year-old.
He said: “Our strength has always been the collective quality of our group. We’re good as a team, we’re ready and we hope to have a great World Cup.
“But certainly Neymar is a triumph of individuality. Neymar will be the World Cup’s star.”
Silva concluded by discussing the confidence he has that he will be the main to lift the World Cup in Brazil.
The PSG captain said: “We have confidence we can win. I will do it for all of us, all Brazilians, to live that special moment.”
