VfL Wolfsburg midfielder Luiz Gustavo has praised former club Bayern Munich.
The Brazil international, who left the Bundesliga holders in August to secure regular football ahead of this summer’s World Cup, has been impressed with how Bayern have managed to improve after their record breaking 2012-13 campaign.
“2013 was a very good year for the club and for all the players,” he told FIFA.com. “This season, they’re proving again just how good they are, both i Germany and on the world stage.
“They have a new coach and a new style, and things are going absolutely perfectly for them at the moment. My time in Munich was very nice and I was very happy, but now it’s over and I’m only focusing on the future.”
