Vinicius Junior has made a lot of headlines in the last few weeks, but sadly, it had nothing to do with his work on the field. The Brazilian star was once again victim of racial abuse this season during Real Madrid’s away defeat to Valencia, and he decided to expose LaLiga’s lack of action on this issue.

The football community stood by Vini’s side, with the winger receiving strong support from different parts of the world. Even though the red card he saw at Mestalla was cancelled, the Flamengo product missed Real Madrid’s last two games. However, it looks like he’ll be back for the season finale.

Vinicius Junior returns to action in last game of the season

On Sunday, June 4, Real Madrid will wrap up the 2022-23 campaign when they welcome Athletic Bilbao to Santiago Bernabéu on Matchday 38 of LaLiga. After missing the Sevilla and Rayo Vallecano fixtures, Vinicius Junior would return to the starting eleven.

It will be an emotional day not only for the Brazilian star, since a group of players will bid farewell to the Spanish club. Karim Benzema looks set to join Saudi Arabian outfit Al Ittihad once his contract expires in June, while Marco Asensio would also leave for free to join Paris Saint-Germain.
