The potential arrival of Kylian Mbappé at Real Madrid generates a lot of speculation, not only regarding the PSG forward but also about how it could impact his potential teammates. Rodrygo, who has been in the spotlight due to rumors involving the 25-year-old player, recently addressed this matter.

“There are many of us. I think Mbappé is close from what everyone says; I trust the journalists, but I don’t know what will happen. There are many of us, and let’s see what the coach decides. I don’t think anything, just to stay focused this season, to finish it well, with the maximum number of possible titles. Next year is a good problem for the coach, but I’m calm,” Rodrygo said.

The future of the Santos product has been put into question with a hypothetical signing of Mbappé. With Endrick already moving to Madrid in July, it seems there could be too many forwards on the squad. However, Rodrygo doesn’t look concerned about it and even gave his approval for Kylian to join.

Rodrygo scores again after seven matches

Without Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo seized the opportunity to shine and end a goal-scoring drought. After seven matches without finding the net and with just one goal in the previous 13 games, the Brazilian was on target twice to secure all three points for his side against Athletic Club.

“Scoring with this shirt is always a joy for me; it gives me confidence to do it at the Bernabéu. Against Spain, it already gave me confidence, and today everything went well. The truth is that I had not scored for a while; I played well, but the goals didn’t come, and today, in the end, I could score. I’m very happy,” Rodrygo said.

“I’m always calm; everyone on the team helps me a lot. I always have a clear mind because I know I will score again, and I wanted to do it when the team needed me. Now is a difficult time, with City close, and I wanted to arrive well.”
