Real Madrid supporters can begin to see a glimmer of hope as the return of Éder Militão seems to be on the horizon. The Brazilian defender had suffered a devastating injury to the cruciate ligaments of his left knee on the first day of La Liga, leaving a significant gap in the team’s defense.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti, always measured in his statements, hinted that Militão could join group training sessions by late March, early April at the latest. However, the experienced Italian tactician emphasizes the need not to rush the player’s return, prioritizing a full recovery.

According to information obtained by Relevo, observers anticipate Militão returning to group training sessions during the month of March. However, it is imperative to note that a transition period will be necessary before he can regain match fitness.

Ideally, the return of the Brazilian international could coincide with a Champions League quarter-final, scheduled for April 9-10 for the first leg and April 16-17 for the second leg. However, reality might lean more towards participation in a semi-final, provided that Real Madrid qualifies and Militão is in top form.

At just 25 years old, Éder Militão is under contract with the club until 2028.
