The Newcastle board understands that it is necessary to maintain the main cast members for the 2023/24 season, with or without a place in the next Champions League. One of the club’s priorities is to renew the contract of Bruno Guimarães, according to information published by the newspaper “The Telegraph”.

The current bond of the Brazilian midfielder is valid until June 2026, however, the Magpies want to increase duration and salary. That’s because Real Madrid and Manchester City can offer advantageous proposals from June, when the transfer window opens.
