Milan and Inter Milan will clash in the semifinals of the Champions League this Wednesday in what will be a historic Derby della Madonnina since whoever wins will go to a final of the highest European competition. The last Italian team to reach a final was Juventus in the 2016/17 season.

Kaká, the former Milan player, referred to the classic that he was able to play several times for the Rosoneros: “The derby is a single match. Wherever you go that week there is talk of the derby”, the former player stated in an interview on Tutti i Giorni radio.

In turn, the midfielder recalled his first goal in a classic against Inter: “I scored with a header, which was not my specialty. That goal will stay in my memory forever. I remember the goal, my jubilation, the fans going down the Curve”, the Brazilian declared.

Kaká also referred to the atmosphere that exists throughout the week when there is a clash with Inter: “The Milan fans tell you that you have to win, the Inter fans told me not to make jokes on the pitch. A whole atmosphere was already being created, a game that could change a season”, closed the former Real Madrid.

The last cross between the two teams was in February when Inter won by the minimum with a goal from Lautaro Martínez. In Serie A both teams are very even with only two points difference where Inter is in fourth position and Milan in fifth .
