Copa América: tickets will be available on February 28th

With 120 days left until the opening match of the 48th edition of the Copa América, Conmebol announced that starting on the 28th, fans will be able to purchase tickets for the group stage, quarterfinals, semifinals, and third-place match of the oldest national teams tournament on the planet.

Tickets for the final at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, will be available at a later date. The Copa América will take place in 14 cities across the United States from June 20 to July 14. There will be 14 stadiums spread across 10 states on the East Coast, Central Zone, and West Coast of the United States.

The competition will feature 32 matches over the course of 25 days and will include 16 participating teams, 10 from Conmebol and six from Concacaf as invited guests. The group stage will be played from June 20 to July 2, followed by the quarterfinals from July 4 to 6, the semifinals on July 9 and 10, the third-place match on July 13, and finally, the final in Miami on July 14.

Tickets will be available to the general public on the 28th through the official website copaamerica.com.

Participating Teams

The official draw for the group stage, which divided the 16 participating teams into four groups, took place on December 7, 2023 in Miami, Florida. The four groups are as follows:

  • Group A: Argentina, Peru, Chile, and Concacaf 5
  • Group B: Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela, and Jamaica
  • Group C: United States, Uruguay, Panama, and Bolivia
  • Group D: Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, and Concacaf 6

The remaining Concacaf teams will be decided in a Concacaf Nations League Play-In between Canada and Trinidad and Tobago (Concacaf 5) and Costa Rica and Honduras (Concacaf 6) on March 23. The winner of each match will qualify for the Copa América group stage.
