With almost six months having passed since Tite’s departure, it was said that the CBF had set a deadline for Ancelotti to make a decision. However, Real Madrid’s coach stressed that there was no deadline as he never had contact with the Brazilian management.
“I don’t talk about my future. But I can tell you one thing: this deadline thing is nonsense. There is no deadline because I have never spoken to anyone about the CBF,” Ancelotti said.
His exit from Real Madrid seems a bit complicated, as his contract expires in June 2024 and he doesn’t seem to have any intention of interrupting it. Therefore, the CBF could start evaluating other alternatives.
In sum, Carlo Ancelotti is categorical, he has not been contacted by the CBF, nor set a deadline to give an answer.
