Brazil coach Tite has insisted that he will afford Neymar freedom to roam around the pitch, as his side shape up for tonight’s World Cup qualifier against Ecuador in Porto Alegre.

Neymar will start on the left side of the attack, with Willian on the right and Gabriel Jesus through the middle. However, Tite says Neymar will have freedom to move around the attack.

“Neymar feels at ease on the left, but with the opportunity to rotate. At Santos he did it. I remember when Adilson Batista used him on the right side, and he did not feel comfortable.

“You need to be where you feel at ease, he does have a freedom to work from the outside and inside, but how will it turn out, that’s another story.”

With Brazil’s World Cup qualification guaranteed, Tite acknowledges that planning for next year starts now, “We move on to a new stage now, the World Cup starts now. I wanted to have more time to work, I was quiet. We are under pressure to perform well.”
