One of the former clubs of Brazilian attacking midfielder Oscar, Internacional are entitled to around 0.70% of the £52 million transfer fee that Chelsea will receive from Shanghai SIPG.
Even though they"re not involved in any aspect of the negotiation, Internacional would pocket some money from the transfer of Oscar from Chelsea to Shanghai SIPG, China, in a transfer involving figures of 52 million, according to British newspaper Independent. One of the training clubs of the 25-year-old, Inter benefits from FIFA"s solidarity mechanism and would receive approximately R$ 2 million [around €600,000]. The calculation is based on the time the player stayed in the club. Oscar joined Internacional in June 2010 to be part of the U23 side. With prominence, he was included in the list of players for the FIFA Club World Cup that year, by Celso Roth. At Inter, the youngster was involved in a legal battle, due to his controversial exit from São Paulo, which resulted in Inter paying R$ 15 million to the club. The biggest beneficiary from the transfer will be São Paulo. Oscar arrived at Tricolor at the age of 13 and only left the club at 19. Thus, the Morumbi side are entitled to 2.35% of the transaction, which correspond to about R$ 5 million.
