Marina Storchi tells that the left-back of Chapecoense already communicates by gestures.
The fiancée of Chapecoense"s left-back Alan Ruschel, one of the survivors of the plane crash that happened in Colombia, was very relieved with the player"s quick recovery. Marina Storchi said that he is “super good" and that he even joked with her. According to her, Alan communicates only by gestures. Marina arrived in Medellín on Thursday morning, accompanied by Flavio Ruschel, father of player. The sister of the left-back, Alissen Ruschel, was already in town. She said: “I"ve had contact with him since I got here, except at other times he was more unconscious. He did not answer much, just opened his eyes a little. I talked to him this morning [Friday]. He would answer me with a wink. I asked him to move with his hand, with his leg, he moved. Now I went in there and he even joked with me."
She added: “He"s super good, he moved his hand, he stood up, he looked fine. He started teasing me and laughing, but it"s all by gestures because he"s intubated. I don"t even know what to say, without explaining everything that has happened so far. I get kind of ecstatic, because the improvement he"s had is absurd and he"s talking to me. I just have to thank God."
On Friday, Alan was transferred from Clínica Somer to the hospital, Fundacion San Vicente, in the region of Antioquia, near the site of the accident. Alan"s sister, Alissen, says the player communicates by signals. Also this Friday, the medical department of Chapecoense released a new bulletin about survivors of the plane crash. Alan is still under care after undergoing spinal surgery. He is on mechanical ventilation, but with the progress in his recovery, the devices should be removed soon. He also has normal movements of the lower and upper limbs. In addition to the left-back, Follmann and defender Neto were survivors of the plane crash, as well as journalist Rafael Henzel. Aircraft technician Erwin Tumiri and flight attendant Ximena Suárez also survived. Goalkeeper Danilo had also been rescued alive, but he died in the hospital.
