Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has earned the praise of his boss Jurgen Klopp. The Brazilian has been in sparkling form this season as part of a fluid front 3, alongside compatriot Philippe Coutinho and new signing Sadio Mane.
Firmino was recently recalled into the Brazil squad for October qualifiers against Bolivia and Venezuela and Klopp was quick to complement Firmino’s defensive and attacking contribution. He has scored 3 times in 7 games so far this season, following 11 goals last year.
“Roberto is a player who is always involved in all defensive and offensive actions. He has a natural ability that he knows and does not think much about stealing the ball in behind. It is a natural instinct you have. He is really strong in this situation and he can play close to all offensive positions,” Klopp told Sky Sports.
