Flamengo “red stars” showed they haven’t lost their old flair.

Zico, now coach of Turkey’s Fenerbahce, assembled a group of veterans that defeated a collection of present all stars 8-5 on Thursday night.

Zico’s team included Flamengo veterans Adilio, Leonardo, Junior, Bebeto, Junior Baiano and Zinho, all of whom were at Brazil’s most popular club when they won national crowns in 1980, 1982, 1983, 1987 and 1992.

Zinho scored a pair and Dutch star Clarence Seedorf added two to lead the Red Stars.

“Here everyone knows how to play. It’s easy,” Zinho said after the game.

Seedorf of Milan was voted the game’s outstanding player. Bebeto and younger standouts Amoroso and Leonardo Moura – a current Flamengo star – also scored for the Red Stars.
