Currently with the Brazilian national team preparing for this month’s Copa América Centenário, defender Marquinhos wants to leave PSG, and already has a preferred destination: Barcelona.
In addition to Barcelona, Marquinhos is in the sights of several European giants like Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United. According to the information from UOL Esporte, the player has no desire to remain at the French club, who already have on hand a number of proposals. The three English clubs and Barcelona are in talks to take Marquinhos from Paris, but the 22-year-old has the dream of playing for the Catalans, especially with the possibility of being a teammate of Neymar. If this does not materialize, England appears as an alternative that Marquinhos sees with good eyes, but not with the same desire of defending Barcelona.
PSG have already rejected offers around €40 million, and to count on Marquinhos, interested clubs would have to shell out a fee close to €50 million. Marquinhos and his representatives believe that the timing is ideal for a major transfer and to begin a new path in one of the two leagues considered to be the strongest in the world.
