The new destination of Benfica’s Brazilian attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca should be sealed in the coming days.
Anderson Talisca was in Salvador at the beginning of the week to enjoy his vacation, but according to the information from ESPN Brasil, Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua are the favourites to sign the 22-year-old for €25 million. When contacted, the player’s staff confirmed the talks but there’s no definition on his future, yet. The deal is being handled directly by Portuguese agent Jorge Mendes, who also manages Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo. On Monday, Talisca was at the training center of Bahia to meet his former colleagues. Striker Jonas also had his name mentioned in conversations, however, the total amount of €45 million requested by Benfica was holding back an agreement for the duo.
