According to Brazilian journalist Léo Gomide, three clubs from Europe have made contact with Atlético Mineiro to discuss a move for the player. Jornal Hoje em Dia in Brazil adds that the highest proposal for Jemerson was €7.8 million, but the club would only consider selling him for at least €10m. With a contract until the end of 2019, the player who came through Atlético Mineiro’s youth system, has a release clause of €30m. The Brazilian side holds 70% of the economic rights of Jemerson, and the board believe that there will not be any deals for the values they demand in the upcoming transfer window.
