On vacation until he finds a new club, former World Player of the Year Ronaldinho, had terminated his contract with Fluminense recently.
The former number 10 of Barcelona talked to the club’s official website, and praised his compatriot Neymar who has won all the attention from fans and media for his performances in the absence of Lionel Messi who’s recovering from a knee ligament problem. He said: “Neymar is a phenomenon. He is the best Brazilian player in the world at the moment and it’s great to see him continue everything we have done before. I think he can be the best in the world. He’s a great player, a great friend and I hope everything goes well for him.”
Ronaldinho played five seasons with Barcelona from 2003 to 2008 and scoring 92 goals in 198 official matches. Neymar is currently in his third season at the Catalan club and has already registered 67 goals in 106 games.
