On the afternoon of Tuesday, Fluminense made their last training session prior to the Copa do Brasil first-leg quarterfinal fixture with Grêmio.
Newly appointed coach Eduardo Baptista left out Ronaldinho from the first team, and the midfield was formed by Pierre, Cícero, Gustavo Scarpa and Gérson. Jean, who felt pain in his pubis, is unlikely to be on the field on Wednesday. Fred and Marcos Júnior should start in attack. There were no real surprises in the defensive sector as Gum and Marlon kept their places, with  Léo Pelé and Wellington Silva as full-backs. However, Wellington Silva was replaced by Higor Leite when he left training with pain, and Eduardo Baptista revealed that Wellington will undergo tests. He said: “We wait for tests. He went to the clinic for tests, and after that we"ll decide if he goes to the game or not."
