Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura has stated that he wants nothing more than a recall to Dunga’s Brazil squad.
Lucas was not selected for Brazil during the Copa America but is now raring to go ahead of the new season. His aim is to get into the next Brazil squad this September. The call up would come on the same day as his 23rd birthday.
“It’s true, it falls on my birthday,” Lucas told Globoesporte. “It will be a special day for me. If I am summoned it will be the icing on the cake. The priority is to play well for PSG because I am sure Dunga looks at the games. I want to show him what I can do. Sure, there’s a little anxiety as it’s been a while since I have been summoned (to the Brazil squad). I want to play for my country’s people but for that I need to work hard.”
Lucas will hope he can catch Dunga’s eye tonight when PSG play Lille in their Ligue 1 game of the season.
