Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suárez were at their brilliant best as Barcelona dispatched Getafe 6-0 to stay on course for a first La Liga title in three years.
Neymar got in on the act when he twisted his way into the area and drilled a low shot into the left-hand corner to make it six goals in as many games for the Brazilian. The Brazilian captain reached 47 goals for the club on Tuesday and has now equaled Ronaldo’s tally. Neymar’s in his second season with Barcelona, but Ronaldo managed to score 47 in the only season he had played with them, for which he was awarded the FIFA World Player of the Year.
