Juventude defeated Internacional 1-0 on Sunday in a match where Lisandro Lopez made his debut for the away side.
Lopez played for 60 minutes and despite being on the losing side he seemed happy to start playing for the club.
“I’m happy to debut and adapt to new football. It will get better every game. I do not know if it will start Wednesday’s game (against Aimoré/RS) but it’s a possibility.”
Inter coach Diego Aguirre is confident Lopez can gel with Nilmar in the coming weeks.
“Nilmar and Lisandro Lopez are complementary. This duo can be the best in Brazil. Nilmar and Lisandro are both strikers of a very high level”
