Kaka scored Orlando City’s first ever goal in the MLS on Sunday to secure them a 1-1 draw against New York City.
The Brazilian midfielder has won the Champions League and World Cup during his career but went on to say that Sunday’s goal in the 90th minute was a career highlight.
“It was a very special goal. I’ve scored many goals in my career, but this was one of the most exciting. In fact, I wanted to get the first goal for the club in the league. I got it too with help from my teammates.”
Orlando City manager Adrian Heath jokingly asked why he didn’t score sooner and Kaka replied,
“I was just testing your heart.”
