Germany: Firmino helps Hoffenheim to victory

Hoffenheim picked up a 2-1 victory at home to Stuttgart and moved up to seventh in the table. Roberto Firmino opened the scoring in the first half with his sixth goal of the season.
Lucas Piazon scored the only goal as Eintracht Frankfurt beat Shalke 04. The victory was Frankfurt’s seventh in a row.
The best game of the weekend was between Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg. The match finished 5-4 to Wolfsburg with Naldo helping the away side to victory.
Hannover went down 2-1 at home to Paderborn despite the best efforts of Marcelo. The centre back opened the scoring but ended up on the losing side.

Spain: Neymar continues hot streak

Barcelona defeated Levante 5-0 in La Liga and Neymar was yet again on the score sheet. He opened the scoring the 17th minute and now has 17 league goals this season.

Portugal: Lima cements Benfica in first

Benfica had two Brazilians to thank for their 3-0 win over Setubal on Sunday. Jardel opened the scoring for the leaders before Lima struck twice to complete a comfortable victory.
Maritimo left Penafiel with a crucial 3 points after an exciting 4-3 win over the bottom club. Ebinho scored early in the second half to help them come back from 2-0 down.
