Milan have opened discussions with Atlético de Madrid over a possible deal for defender Guilherme Siqueira, according to respected Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
The 28 year-old, who has previously spent time in Italy with Internazionale, Lazio, Ancona and Udinese, was signed by Atlético from Granada for a reported fee of €10 million in July 2014, but has so far struggled to impress manager Diego Simeone.
Siqueira was left out of the recent games against Real Madrid and Barcelona, with youngster Lucas Hernández and Jesus Gamez preferred, and could now be set for a move to Milan.
The Rossoneri have had problems of their own at full-back, with the likes of Pablo Armero failing to convince, and Siqueira would be a welcome addition for Head Coach Filippo Inzaghi.
