Agent of Fluminense striker Fred insists there have been no negotiations with Brasileirão champions Cruzeiro regarding a transfer.
There were reports in Brazil, specifically from Superesportes MG that Cruzeiro are in contact with Fred who demanded a weekly salary of around €61,000 and a five year contract to return to the club. Fred’s agent Francis Melo told O Tempo: “Fred is going to the United States with his daughter, girlfriend and family. He didn’t have any conversation with Cruzeiro over a salary or negotiation.”
Despite the interest in Fred, Cruzeiro have already signed Santos striker Leandro Damião on loan.
