Marcelo, who’s out with a muscle injury, has returned to training at Real Madrid’s training center a day ahead of schedule.
He was initially sidelined for 3 weeks, but the Brazilian’s intention is to return to the pitch earlier than what the club’s medical staff had said. As quoted in Globo Esporte, even the Real Madrid coaching staff are said to be surprised by Marcelo’s recovery. Despite all his efforts, the medical team doesn’t want to rush him because doing so might result in the player aggravating the injury.
The team led by Carlo Ancelotti will travel to the UAE for a friendly game against AC Milan, with the next official game coming only on the 4th of January.
