Ahead of the final weekend of the Brasileiro, Santos defender David Braz has announced that he would accept a bribe if it was ever offered to him.
Santos play Vitoria this weekend who are battling with Bahia and Palmeiras in a tight relegation scrap. Players have been approached by criminals in similar scenarios and have been offered a bribe or a ‘white bag’ as it is called in Brazil.
Although Braz claims this has never happened to him he was happy to reveal that he would gladly accept such an offer,
“It’s something that is part of football. It would be cool, I would be happy. If it does happen, better yet, more money for me.”
Braz may now be charged by the Supreme Court of Sports Justice.
