Rogerio Ceni has sounded a rallying cry to his Sao Paulo teammates after they beat Emelec 4-2 in the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana quarter-final on Thursday.
The legendary goalkeeper admitted that the performance wasn"t a perfect one, but challeneged the side to kick on and lift the trophy.
He said: ‘For what we did in the first half, the second half let us down but we"re not letting our [expectations lower]. We want the title, let"s make it happen.
‘We had a moment of instability where we couldn"t hit the passes and we lost ourselves a bit."
