Bruno Mendes is eager to show his worth at Avaí, following a disappointing spell with Atlético Paranaense.
The 20 year-old attacker came prominence with eight goals in 14 appearances for Botafogo, but failed to find the net after joining Paranaense in January.
Now, having moved on to Brasileirão Série B side Avaí, Mendes is confident he will play more and hopes to be rewarded for his hard work in training.
“I have not had much opportunities at Atlético-PR and played little,” he told Avaí’s official website. “I got only a few matches.
“I’ll gain rhythm playing, but I always worked hard in training and gave my best to always be in good physical condition.”
