Neymar made a trip to Milan recently and received criticism from sections of the media for a perceived lack of focus, however Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique has rejected claims it shouldn’t be allowed.
The Brazil international was photographed in the Italian city enjoying a short break ahead of their weekend clash against Levante.
However, Enrique wants his players to enjoy themselves.
Goal.com quoted the Barcelona head coach, he said: “It doesn’t bother me at all.
“It’s his private life and the players know what they have to do.
“They have to enjoy themselves. I spend my time with my children in my free time. I’ve got a group of players that are fun and spontaneous.”
Neymar will hope to prove his critics wrong when Barcelona host Madrid-based Levante this evening.
The 22-year-old has started the season well scoring twice in La Liga, despite starting both matches on the bench.
