Juventus Sporting Director Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed that he is set to sign Hellas Verona midfielder Romulo.
The 27 year-old was expected to join the Bianconeri on Tuesday, but will now finally complete his switch tomorrow.
“Romulo is likely to be a Juve player tomorrow,” he said, as reported by Football Italia. “Tomorrow his agent will arrive in Turin.”
Romulo came to prominence during a loan spell at Verona from Fiorentina last season. His excellent form earned him a call up to Italy’s provisional World Cup squad, but injured preventing him from securing a place in Head Coach Cesare Prandelli’s final 23.
