The agent of Paulo Henrique Ganso has reiterated that no agreement has been reached between Napoli and São Paulo regarding his client.

Lots of speculation has been present recently surrounding Ganso’s future with the Italian club heavily linked and Napoli are now considering suing São Paulo after comments from their president.

São Paulo president Carlos Miguel Aldar reportedly suggested that not even money from the Neapolitan mafia could take Ganso to Naples.

And now, Ganso’s agent Giuseppe Diguardi has insisted all the speculation around his client is just rumours and he has admitted he is disappointed with Aldar’s comments.

Football Italia quoted Diguardi, who had spoken to CalcioNapoli, he said: “There is no agreement, there hasn’t even been a negotiation.

“The rumours aren’t true at all. Yesterday I was at the Maracanã, and then a call came through informing me of the rumours that had gone round.

“But I want to repeat that nothing is true. It is just a rumour.

“What the President said? We’re all unhappy about that. I was born in Brazil, but my father is from Naples and I have relatives there.”

After several years of stagnation, the 24-year-old has started the 2014 Brasileirão in good form and it would be a surprise to see him depart São Paulo just as he appears to be flourishing.
