Brazil and PSG captain Thiago Silva reckons that in order to dominate the European club game, the French side must delve further into the transfer market this summer and take another step towards winning the Champions League.

Silva, 28, told reporters at a PSG news conference: “A team must win to have a very strong group. Today, I can say that we have.”

“But it lacks one or two players to expand the workforce and ensure that we are better equipped than this season.”

“If players like David Luiz and Oscar arrive (Chelsea and fellow Brazilian teammates), then PSG will become a much stronger team.”

The Parisian club have been linked with moves for the pair, as well as France midfielder Paul Pogba, who plys his trade in Italy with Juventus.
