The Blues defeated Stoke City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday with goals from Mohamed Salah, Frank Lampard, and Willian helping them to a 3-0 win.
For Willian, the goal marked his first goal scored at Stamford Bridge, and to make the day even better, the Brazil international earned himself a man of the match award as well.
After the match, the 25-year-old posted a photo of himself with his teammates and his man of the match award.
The caption of the photo dedicated his award to the fans for all the faith they’ve shown in him since his arrival this past summer.
“I dedicate this trophy to all my teammates and the Chelsea fans, who have always shown great affection for me. Today I scored my first goal at Stamford Bridge and I was thrilled with the chants of the fans. We will have a new battle on Tuesday and we need all of you! Come on Chelsea!!”
