Tickets are being snapped up at a rapid rate ahead of Brazil’s friendly match against South Africa on March 5 as the World Cup’s previous and incumbent hosts prepare for an international in Johannesburg.

The game will take place at the Bafana Bafana’s Soccer City, which has a capacity of over 94,000. South Africa’s FA head of communications, Dominic Chimhavi, thinks that the potentially large attendance has made locals clamour for their chance to see Neymar et al. Speaking with his country’s national football website, he said: “Preparations are going very well.”

“It is the opportunity of a lifetime for supporters to come to the stadium and enjoy themselves. Tickets are on sale already and are selling like hot cakes!”
