Brazilian superstar Neymar has apparently become one of the most highest-paid players of all time after his transfer to Barcelona as fresh details of the move came to light through Spanish newspaper Marca.

On Monday it was reported that the 21 year-old actually cost the Catalan club €95 million as opposed to €57 million that was broadcast and today Marca claims that in terms of slary, Neymar will benefit to the tune of €105 million during his five-year contract.

He will earn €10.8 million per year in terms of a basic salary and a further €51 million will be paid to Neymar’s father’s business and to the man personally for “services rendered.”

Marca claims to possess seven key documents that concern the details of the Brazilian’s move from Santos last summer which, if found to be accurate, would confirm Neymar’s status as the world’s highest-paid player, with earnings going to he and his family of over €400,000 per week.
