Michel Bastos is on the brink of completing his loan move from Al Ain to Roma, after undergoing medical tests on Monday.
The 30 year-old is set to sign on an initial six-month agreement, after turning down strong interest from Napoli.
Bastos, who worked under Roma Head Coach Rudi Garcia at Lille, had grown unhappy at Al Ain and was believed to be keen on a move back to Europe.
Sky Sport Italia claims the Brazil international will take the number 20 shirt and could make his debut in Roma’s weekend trip to Hellas Verona.
