João Santos, the agent of Hellas Verona midfielder Jorginho, insists there are a number of Serie A teams interested in his client.
The 21 year-old, who was born in Brazil but hopes to represent Italy at international level, has been one of the revelations of the campaign.
Jorginho has scored seven goals in 17 appearances and performed an instrumental role in Hellas Verona’s shock start to life back in Serie A.
The São Paulo-native’s good form has not gone unnoticed, with agent Santos admitting Italy’s biggest clubs are keen on the play-maker.
“If Napoli want him, they must talk with Verona, who play their next game against the Azzurri,” he told Tuttomercatoweb.
“Jorginho for now is focused on his team and is not thinking of the market, but rather only of doing well with Hellas. The market is something I can take care of.
“In Italy there are three or four teams interested and Napoli are one of those.
“He can leave Verona now with a great offer, if an important offer arrives then it is just that the player can leave.”
