Brazil under-20 international Adryan is close to completing his loan move to Cagliari according to his agent Reinaldo Pitta, who concluded talks with the Italian club on Tuesday night.

The talented Flamengo attacker will move to Italy on an 18-month loan deal and could sign with the club permanently if he is successful, although the youngsters does have the option to return to Brazil as his contract with Mengão runs until 2016.

Esporte UOL reported quotes from Pitta, who confirmed that everything is arranged and the documents just need to be signed over the coming days.

“Everything is closed. The idea now is that the parties sign the documents this week and Adryan is already travelling over in the next few days.”

The highly rated 19-year-old has previously confirmed that English Premier League side Manchester United had showed interest in him but the youngster rejected their advances in 2012.

Since then his career has stalled and after only appearing 14 times in the Brasileirão last year it was always expected that he would move on in the close season.

Adryan will link up with two other Brazilians in the Cagliari squad, former Cruzeiro forward Nenê and defender Fernando Avelar.
