Internazionale have not sent loanee Wallace back to Chelsea, according to the player’s agent.

Reports claimed yesterday that the 19 year-old defender had failed to convince head coach Walter Mazzarri and was being returned to London.

Wallace’s agent, Federico Moraes, admits his client would like more playing time, but insists the Brazilian is staying at Inter.

“I can say it’s not true,” he said to FCInterNews.it.

“We have not received any call from Chelsea with this hypothesis, so he will remain until the end of the season at Inter.

“Are Inter unhappy with his performances? You’d have to ask them that. I think he’s in the normal adjustment period, as he hasn’t even been in Italy for six months. From now to June I’m convinced he’ll show his best form on the field.

“He is happy at Inter, very happy. He just hopes to play more often from now on.”

Wallace joined Inter on loan in August, after impressing during Chelsea’s pre-season, but has only played for 39 minutes in Serie A this term.
