In the light of Lionel Messi’s injury Seleção star Neymar has been touted as the replacement for the great man.
Neymar signed for the Catalan club this summer and joined up with the most formidable forward line in the world.
But with Barca’s main man out injured for at least eight matches manager Gerardo Martino, has spoke out about Neymar.
He told reporters: “Neymar has been doing very well ever since he got here and I don’t think that his situation changes due to Messi’s absence,” he said. “There’s no extra pressure on him.”
Neymar has scored four goals in 11 appearances in La Liga this season.
