Barcelona defender Javier Mascherano has claimed that it is important for the to have signed a player like Neymar.
The Seleção international joined the Spanish giants this summer from Santos to much media coverage and fanfare.
The Argentine defender has claimed that the young forward can do well at Camp Nou.
The former Liverpool player told a press conference: "I do not know him that well. I haven’t talked to him much.
"Adriano and Dani [Alves] know him best, but he seems like a humble guy.
"Despite how famous he is, he seems to have kept his feet on the gorund.
"He’s obviously a very good player, and will be very good for us.
"It is important for Barca to able to get an individual like Neymar."
Neymar joined Barcelona for €57 million and his been the centre of attention since his move to Spain and is expected to form a lethal partnership with Lionel Messi next season.
