Bayern"s manager Guardiola was impressed with Brazil"s performance in the Confederations Cup final but he still thinks Spain are the favorites to win the World Cup.

Brazil won that 3-0, although the current World Cup champions were widely considered the favorites to win the tournament.

Guardiola believes Brazil"s win was fair, he told Lancenet: “It seemed perfectly normal to me that Spain lost [to Brazil]. They were physically better than us.

“But I believe that Spain are still favorites going into the World Cup."

Brazil"s biggest star Neymar has joined Barcelona and will make his league debut on August 18 against Levante, raising concerns that he will have trouble playing alongside Messi.

Guardiola, however, does not believe that Messi and Neymar will have problems playing together, he said: “Barcelona have always had some of the best players in the world at their disposal, and Neymar and Messi are undoubtedly two of the best at the moment.

“I know Messi very well. He is a fantastic person as well as player. I have met Neymar too and he seems like a good lad and I"m sure they will have no problem playing together."
