AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has confirmed the club have sent Santos their final request for how much it will cost to take Robinho to Brazil.

The long transfer saga seems to be coming to an end one way or another with Galliani giving Santos one final chance to meet their valuation of the 29-year-old Brazil international, reports Football Italia.

Galliani spoke at a press conference and confessed: “Last night we sent Santos our final economic request for Robinho.

It is believed that this final request is lower than the original €10m price-tag with €8.5m being reported as the new value.

Many have reported that Robinho’s sale is necessary before Milan can swoop for CSKA Moscow’s Honda, but Galliani painted a different picture.

“I see Honda as an excellent trequartista. If Robinho were to leave, then we would bring in a support striker instead.
