Brazilian legend Ronaldo will make his debut in the commentary box this evening for the game between Brazil and England, and the former striker thinks England are still a strong side.

“Regarding the game, I see the English as major players. They really are very strong, and face a very good Brazilian team trying to win back its fans.” said Ronaldo.

“I see Brazil as favorites, playing at home and needing victory to win back the supporters.” he added.

Ronaldo also compared the newly refurbished Maracanã with Wembley stadium, and said they are two of the best stadiums in the world.

He commented: “The Maracanã and Wembley Stadium are the most remembered in the world of football, by history, by all who have experienced their beauty.

“I was often at the Maracanã with my father, watching Flamengo games. I played there a few times as a professional, but did not score. The new Maracaná is spectacular, is special, different from all others.” he added.
